History of the Department of Physics
Physics Department, Myitkyina Junior College was opened in 1963. At this time, the classes for intermediate A and intermediate B had been conducted. In 2000, the college was promoted to the University. The classes for degree of B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.) and M.Sc have been conducted.
