History of the Department of Economics
In Myanmar, there are three universities of commerce: Yangon University of Economics, Monywa University of Economics, and Meiktila University of Economics. The Department of Economics at Myitkyina University was established in 2000.
Mission- To promote the development of business knowledge by organizing exchange forums, training sessions, and research paper reading sessions.
- To take action for the development and progress of economic studies
- To assist national economic development activities with business knowledge
- To promote and spread economic knowledge, skills, and ideas among the public.
