History of the Department of Philosophy

        Department of philosophy was established in 1977 for Bachelor of Arts courses at Myitkyina College. Professor DawMyaKyaing, U KhinMaung Cho, DawKyinMya and Daw N-Ja Ban were firstly appointed as the head of the department of philosophy. After that the professors mentioned below were appointed as the head of the department.
